  Introduction

Our privacy policy describes the ways in which we collect, store, use and protect your personal information.
We collect personal information from you when you use HBMeU e-Store (“e-Store”) to buy our specialized books.
By providing us with your personal information you explicitly authorize us to process your personal information in agreement with the terms of our privacy policy.

  We may revise our privacy policy at any time by posting a revised version on the e-Store.

The revised version will be effective at the time of posting it online. Subsequently, your continued use of our e-Store will represent your approval to us in continuing to process your personal information in agreement with the terms of our revised privacy policy.

  1. The collection of your personal information

  a) As part of your registration on our e-Store, you will be asked to provide us with some personal information, such as your name, shipping address, email address, contact number and other similar information.

We use this information for delivery purposes and for the fulfillment of your order. Therefore this information should always be kept up-to-date.

b) We may also collect information about your computer (for example, browser type) and navigation information (for example, the pages you visit on our e-Store) along with the times that you access the e-Store.

Finally, we may collect additional information from or about you in other ways not specifically described here.

2. The use of your personal information

a) We only use your personal information to provide you with quality services and products; to measure and improve our services; to prevent illegal activities and put into practice our user agreement with you (“User Agreement”); collect payments; provide you with promotional emails and SMSs.

  b) Although we make every effort to safeguard your privacy, we may need to disclose your personal information to law enforcement agencies or government agencies where we are obliged so to do by court order or similar legal procedure; where we are required to disclose your personal information to comply with law; where we are cooperating with an ongoing law enforcement investigation or where we have a good faith belief that our disclosure of your personal information is necessary to prevent physical harm or financial loss, to report suspected illegal activity or to investigate a possible violation of our User Agreement.

c) We do not sell or rent any of your personal information to third parties. We will only share your personal information with third parties in accordance with this privacy policy.

d) By registering in the e-Store, you give us your express permission to receive promotional emails and SMSs about our services and emails announcing changes to, and new features on, the e-Store.

If, at any time, you decide that you do not wish to receive any such emails and/or SMSs, you can opt-out of receiving such e-mails by clicking on the link at the bottom of any of our e-mails or by going to the My Account section of the e-Store and choose to stop receiving our SMSs.

  e) Additionally, we do use your comments about the e-Store for marketing purposes and by making such comments you give us the permission to use such comments for our marketing purposes.

f) You can access and review your personal information in the My Account section of the e-Store.

If your personal information changes in any way or is incorrectly presented on the e-Store you should immediately update or correct your personal information by accessing the My Account section on the e-Store.

g) Please note that we shall maintain your personal information following the end of your use of the e-Store as required complying with the law, to avoid frauds, and to take any other actions permitted by UAE law.

  3. Protecting your personal information

  We hold your personal information on our servers located in our premises in the United Arab Emirates.

By providing us with personal information, you permit us to store it on our servers. We take every preventative measure to safeguard all your personal information from unauthorized access.

You must enter your username and password each time you want to access your account or make transactions on the e-Store.

Never share your username and password with anyone. If you have concerns that your username or password may be compromised, change your password by logging onto the My Account section of the e-Store. If you are not able to do so, please contact our customer support team immediately.
